Agricultural Science Program
Agricultural Foundations
Equipping students with technical knowledge and hands-on experience in crop production, animal production, environmental stewardship, agribusiness, and applied problem-solving.

Rebuilding the poultry teaching spaces
A significant need within the program is the reconstruction of its poultry teaching spaces. Both chicken coops require rebuilding, and we have already obtained a quote to reconstruct one of the larger structures.
Once restored, these facilities can strengthen instruction in animal production and management while expanding students’ access to supervised, practical learning.
The larger coop also carries the potential to become an income-generating asset for the agricultural program, giving students exposure not only to livestock care and production systems, but also to the business and entrepreneurial side of agriculture.

Greenhouse & garden restoration
The greenhouse and garden bed area presents another important opportunity for investment. With renovation, this space can once again support practical learning in horticulture, crop production, protected cultivation, and water-conscious growing methods.
A restored facility would give students greater access to the kind of applied agricultural learning that strengthens technical confidence, supports academic development, and makes the program more meaningful through direct experience.
“Donor support helps transform these facilities into active learning environments where agricultural science is practiced as well as taught.”
It is an investment in youth development, skill-building, and the conditions that allow student talent to grow, remain engaged, and see agriculture as a credible pathway for future leadership and opportunity.
